A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Mount Pleasant, SC. This contract role spans the current school year, with an immediate start date and continuing through June 12th. The SLP will serve students ranging from 6th to 12th grade, delivering specialized support crucial for their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid South Carolina SLP license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working within school environments serving K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and educational regulations.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and communicate professionally with students, families, and staff.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time contract position aligned with the school calendar year.
- Typical workday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
